Every Angle We Have of That Boat on Lake Havasu Going Airborne and Flipping Wildly Through the Air

And somehow, despite doing several full flips, everyone inside was okay.

We often talk about how car events like takeovers can be incredibly dangerous affairs. But don’t go thinking that you need to hit the streets in order to sustain life-threatening injuries!

If you really want to injure yourself, you can also take to the seas. At a recent “Desert Storm” boating event in Lake Havasu in Arizona, a boat was trying to break a 206-mph speed record when it suddenly became airborne, flipping wildly through the air before eventually landing upside down.

Surprisingly, everyone involved was okay, though the two racers involved still haven’t been identified (they insisted on racing under the names John Wayne and Clint Eastwood in order to protect their identities — wonder why!).
